Dear Islamic Brothers! Keeping a Beard is the Sunnah of all Prophets (Alaihimusalaam) and is the Most beloved Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alahi Wa'aalihi Wasallam). The Prophet (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alahi Wa'aalihi Wasallam) has also stressed many times that now it has become Wajib (Incumbent). The King of Bareilly Sharif Imaam e Ahlesunnat A'alahazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (Alaihir Rahma) provided the reference on the importance of of beard and being Wajib and to Shave it or Cut it before a fistful is haraam from 18 Verses, 72 Ahadith and Sayings of the Buzrugan-e-Deen. (Lam'at-ul-Dhuha Fi E'afa-il-Luha)
THE BEARD IS A BEAUTY FOR A MALE
It is stated in Kimya-e-Sa'adat from Imam Ghazali (Rehmatullahi Ta'ala Aleh), Prophet (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alahi Wa'aalihi Wasallam) has said, their are such Angels of Allah (Az'zawajal) whoes Glorification is:
\\\"Pure is He who Beautified the Male with the Beards and the Gesu (Hair) for the females\\\"
THE FIRST ENEMY OF THE BEARD WAS THE SHAYTAAN
The begining history of shaving of the Beard is proven from the challenge of the Shaytaan the Curserd with Allah (Az'zawajal). Ah! this era haven't the Muslims followed the Shaytaan? Ah! Whatever happens weather Allah be Displeased, or Nabi (Sallal Laahu Ta'ala Alahi Wa'aalihi Wasallam) be displeased who will leave those words of the Shaytaan? Allah (Az'zawajal) mention those words of the Shaytaan in the Challenge of Allah in the Qur'an Surat Number 4 transalation taken from Kanzul Imaan;
Whom Allah has cursed. And he said, 'I swear, I will certainly take some fixed portion of Your bondmen. I swear, I will certainly lead them astray and certainly I will excite in them desires and will certainly say to them that they would cut the ears of cattle and will certainly bid to them that they would alter the creation of Allah. (Surah an Nisa Verse 118-119)
My Dear Islamic Brothers! shaving the beard is undoubtedly
altering/spoling the nature of Allah (Az'zawajal). The beard is a beauty for the males, but the unfortunate whom shaves it or shortens it before a fistfull are altering/spoiling Allah's created thing. We learn that those who shave their beard are following the footsteps of the Shaytaan,and the Shaytaan thinks of them as his slaves and appointed people.
Allah (Az'zawajal) anounced the Challenge of the Shatyaan in the Holy Qur'an in Surat Number 4 transalation taken from Kanzul Imaan;
And he, who takes Satan for a friend beside Allah, has suffered a manifest loss. (Surah an Nisa Verse 119)
THE FIRST CURSE ON SHAVING THE BEARD WAS UPON THE NATION OF LUT (ALAIHISALAAM)
In the Hisory we find that the Nation of Lut (Alahisalaam were the first upon following the ordered compliance of the Shaytaan, when the beard of their young boys grew they would shave their beards off to look handsome and young. After doing so much indecent things were continuing, It angered Allah (Az'zawajal), Accoringly Allah (Az'zawajal) said in Surat Number 21 transalation taken from Kanzul Imaan,
And to Lut, We gave government and knowledge and delivered him from that town which had been working foul deeds; undoubtedly those evil people were disobedient. (Surat Ambiya Verse 74)
THE DESTRUCTION THE NATION OF LUT (ALAIHISALAAM) WAS BECAUSE OF SHAVING THE BEARD
Because of ten (10) Bad Deeds of the Nation of Lut (Alaihisalaam) were a reason for their Destruction in which one is being a Gay (Doing wrong things with males), drinking alcohol/wine, shaving the beards and growing mouchtache.
