Kaaley Kamley Waalaa something been on my mind for a very long time
my ustaad told me, that two ulema from india had debate whether you are allowed to call Nabi SalAllahu Alaihi Wasalam "Kaaley Kamley Waalaa"
Hazrat Allama Maulana Shafee Okarvi was supposed to go to india and set their differences aside ... however a little while before they were due to go, they passed away
does anyone know as to why one of the ulema said that you cannot call Nabi SalAllahu Alaihi Waslam "Kaaley Kamley Waalaa"?
now .... this part i am NOT SURE ABOUT AT ALL!!
i have heard from a person (not at all related to di) that Bapa do not approve of calling Nabi SalAllahu Alaihi Wasalam "Kaaley Kamley Waalaa"
is this true???
if so, that means that the ash'aar in naat that refer to Nabi SalAllahu Alaihi Wasalam as "Kaaley Kamley Waalaa" should not be read
on the same note, i have not YET come accross any current or former markazi sanaa khwaan ever say "Kaaley Kamley Waalaa" or "Kamley Waalaa" ... i could be wrong, you may have heard, but i have not
please can someone clarify

Asaalamu Alaikum,
Im not sure about this... and It would be great if, any well-known Alims could speak on this topic. Also, there has been some brothers, who also disagree with the word 'Tu' and just 'Madinah' in Naath Shareefs, as they say it is dis-respect.
I recall a Shair of Rumi-e-Kashmir, Hazrat Mian Muhammad Baksh Qadiri (Alaihi Rahma),
Lookhi Mainu Aa-ah-Daraya, Raath Qabar di Kali
May Suniah Uteh Us Nay aana, Jiday MUNDAY KAMLII KAALI

Re: Kaali Kamli Walay
Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat does not approve of it. You will not hear Markazzi Naat Kwaans saying that in naats.
There is a naat "Kaali Kamli walay ki shaan hi niraali hein" i think thats the title, but i am 126% sure, but there is a line in there that goes something like this "meray kamli walay ki shaan hi niraali hein" Haji Mushtaq Rahmatullah alaihi reads this verse as "meray payaray AQA ki shaan hi niraali hein"

I asked same question to Hazrat e Allama moulana Munazir e ahlesunnat Mufti Abbas Razavi Damat bara katu humul aaliya. they said there is ikhtilaaf in ulema e punjaab and other. Punjab ulema says its allowed.
Other ulema says its "Tasgheer"(mean in urdu kisi cheez ko chota karna) and its not allowed to use for Aaqa salal la ho ale he wa sallam or related to them. kamli mean in urdu kambal and in punjabi kamal. thats y they says kamli wala but punjabi ulema says we dont use this word for tasgheer.
I remember when i started to reading naat's in weekly ijtimah of dawat e islami my nigran told me that dont use this word"kamali wala" in any naat because in dawat e islami markazi tarkeeb its not allowed. and Ala hazrat wrote its a tasgheer and not allowed.
Wallah ho a'lam
Insha Allah I will ask this question to darul Ifta Ahlesunnat and I will post here proper fatwa here.
