Asalamo `alaykum wa rahmatullah Madina!, Below is a translation of Hazrat Shah Turabul Haq Qadri (Damat Barkhatum Aliya)s Q&A session by my close freind and brother Faisal Hussain Ashfaqi Razawi Qadri (a.k.a 'FaisalRaza'). ***If there are any mistakes in the translation please let me know via e-mail or on the forum so that we can correct them. JazakAllah khair.*** Allahuma Salle Ala Sayidina Muhammadin Ma Danil Judeh Wal Karameh Wa Aalihi Wa Barik Wasallim May Allah Forgive me for my mistakes. If the imam sahib reads out aloud in either the 3rd rakaat of Esha or Maghrib will the namaaz be void? Imam Abu Hanifa Radi Allah Anhu said, if namaaz is Jeheri then Jeher is Waajib, if namaaz is Sirhi then Sirh is Waajib in this circumstance Sajdah E Sahw will be done. Against Ihsan Zaheer Elahis ‘Al Barelwiyat’ what is the reply of the Ahle Sunnat? Hazrat Allama Abdul Hakeemsharaf Qadri Damat Barakathum Aaliya, Lahore you should get there book, ‘Sheeshe Ka Ghar’ it is a reply to there book.. Can you read azaan on the grave? You will believe that only azaan should be said before namaaz whereas in Hadith it is stated that Azaan can be said in more places than that, for e.g. whenever there is a azaab i.e. Earthquake, Heavy Rain or even illness then the Azaan can be recited. Allama Ibn Abidin Shaami Rehmatullah Alaih states in Shaami that apart from prayer, azaan can be said in other places when the mayat is placed in the qabr then the azaan should be recited. Doing Raf I Den? Imam E Azam Rehmatullah Alaihs fatwa is that doing Raf I Den is not allowed, if you say that many Hadith state that Raf I Den is allowed then the call of Imam E Azam Rehmatullah Alaih is that it is Mansooq now. Going to Mazaars is it allowed? Definately, it is Jaeez, and is Haq (Truth) and is Mustasun and whoever says your not allowed are not telling the truth, Nabi Kareem Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam used to go once a year to the graves of Sehabas Radi Allah Anhuma to give them Barkat and many times Nabi Kareem Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam went to Jannat Ul Baqi so that they could get Barkat. Going to graveyards and graves there is an added advantage as it will remind you of death, also going to your parents graves, on Fridays after Juma and for reading fateha, this is all permissible, details can be found in Fatawa Radhwiyya Shareef of Imam Ahle Sunnat Maulana Shah Ahmad Raza Khan Fazile Bareilly Radi Allah Anhu. Without Wudu can you read Durood Shareef? Yes, you can recite Durood Shareef, also duas and if anyone knows any Quranic ayats by heart then without touching the Quran you are allowed to recite it, but touching the Quran is not allowed until you are in a state of Taharat E Kamil. What do we gain from reading Durood E Taj? Durood E Taj has the same Fazilat as other Durood Shareefs, Mishkaat Shareef has got a full section on this, Ke Jo Shuks Mujh Par Durood Pare Tu Allah Mujh Rar Durood Parne Wale Ko Das Nekiyan Ata Farmata, Das Darje Uske Buland Karta Hai Aur Das Gunaah Us Ke Maaf Ho Jaayenge. Durrod E Taj has the same level of sawaab as this in which Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallams Tareef and in which the beauty of Nabi Kareem Sallalahu Alaih Wasallam is said. With one Wudu can you read more than one namaaz? Yes you can, if your Wudu is still there then you can read more than one, this is permissible, however it is better to do fresh Wudu for every namaaz and if you have read more then one namaaz with only doing Wudu once then it is totally permissible. Could you tell us of any Durood Shareef which I can read all the time? Durood Shareef Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan (Rehmatullah Alaih) in there kitaab, Al Wazifa Tul Kareema stated, ‘SALLALAHU ALAN NABIYIL UMEYEE WA ALIHI SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM SALATUW WASALAAMUN ALAIKA YA RASOOLULLAH’ Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam. Reading prayer in a deviant mosque without a jamaat is it allowed? Yes, if you go to a deviant masjid which has been built by them, then if you read namaaz in there it will be the same reward of reading it at home you will not get the sawaab of reading it at a mosque. There is no mosque in my area that is Ahle Sunnat, so for Eid and Juma what should I do? If there is no mosque in your area that is of Ahle Sunnat aqeeda then you will not have to read Eid namaaz and Juma will be replaced by you reading Zuhr namaaz at home. Can you read 8 rakaats in Taraweeh? No, it is not allowed, Taraweeh is read with 20 rakaats, the whole Ummat has done Ijmah on this, the worlds Hanafi followers all read 20 rakaat as 8 rakaats doesn’t fulfill this Sunnat. The Imam in our mosque near the end of the Khutbah for Juma said, ‘WA O-LA WOH ALA’ instead of ‘WA ALA WA O-LA’, is the Khutbah and the Juma namaaz accepted? Yes from this type of mistake the Khutbah and Juma namaaz is not affected and is accepted. InshaAllah. In the Eid prayer if the Imam Sahib makes a mistake will the namaaz be accepted? If the Imam Sahib misses a Farz i.e. If Sajdah is not done or that Ruku is forgotten or that one Sajdah less is prayed then yes, you will have to repeat the Eid Namaaz however, in the Eid prayer if a takbeer is forgotten or that 2 or 3 takbeers are added then you will not have to repeat your namaaz.
